I manually forced to load control port driver. Also I changed com port number

I will try a different computer... but box was working fine just until the second I ordered to update its firmware.

You don't need to force control port driver. You just needed erase old driver from windows driverstore, by ticking "delete . . .".


I don't see reason for box to be detected by windows and with loaded driver and not to be detected by RIFF software, other by some port monitoring software such is blackberry or nokia phone manager.

It is detected by riff software I the other computer. So I will proceed there to complete firmware upgrade and will deal with this computer later.

I have same issues and have tried same steps above on three boxes, but Riff Box 2 keeps blinking green light. I tried Riff Box on same boxes and it works just not Riff Box 2. Please help

RIFF Box v2 uses different driver for control port.


Please start new topic with details:
- Win OS version
- Box firmware version
- Anything else which might be important.

Disable driver signature enforcement, and make sure to install update port driver once box restarts into update mode.
