Renault scenic radio code needed

Need the radio code for my Scenic, Bought it from a used car garage and the CODE was showing from the day I got it.

Took out the radio and the serial number is missing. The only thing that was on it was a barcode with

7700434425TQ096 and at the side of that on the same stick in small font it says 0077057

Also quote the SECURITY NUMBER. This is found on a label on the metal casing in the format TOA123 or TA123 or just A123 at the end of a barcode

If in doubt post ALL the letters+numbers on any labels or barcodes

I think something stupid has happened. When I was went to put in the code. I am now getting ERROR on the display. I have waited 1hr, 2hr etc and retried. No joy. Any ideas how to get past the ERROR message, so as to started to put in the code ?

To restore from ERROR ...leave SWITCHED ON ...UNDISTURBED until it has automatically reset itself.

This may take an hour or longer
