Ford V Serial codes are not available for free from anywhere on the Internet as access is required to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software.

hi there. had to replace a headlight bulb and disconnected the battery. the ford 6000 cd unit is now asking for 4 digit code. how do I go about finding the serial number of the unit ? I have checked all documentation that we have on the car and it has nothing ? is there any where on the car that it is written ? thanks in advance

The radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display your Serial Number Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321
