can someone help? ford cmax 2004 radio shows enter code ---- (flashing) but wont let em enter code. ive tried the pressing 1 button until a number appears but it never does and then have tried the other imput method of pressing number 1 the number of times the code is then number 2 the number of times etc.

serial number is : M215682

i have a code thats written on the unit but i suspect its wrong!

please help the silence is driving me mad.....plus its making me actually listen to the wife!

the unit just doesnt seem to want to take it any suggestions on what im doing wrong? is it worth disconnecting the battery/fuse to ty and reboot the stereo?

In магнитолах "Ford", in some models, there is a function of input of numbers of the vehicle, Turn on the radio and press "SELECT "plus "1". Radio will show the new code. After the code is entered, press the button "VOLUM +" or "-" to display alphanumeric characters of the first category. Press the SEEK +" or "-" to move to the next digit. Do the same for all characters and press "SELECT" to save the entered data.

again thanks but my radio is the cd 6000 model with a wheel in the centre with a menu key directly underneath and doesnt have a 'select' button.
