Ford V Serial codes are not normally available for free from anywhere on the Internet as access is required to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software.

I have a 6000CD player. The serial number is M280014 and the key code should be 5081 but it doesn't work. I've only attempted it 3 times so the stereo is not locked yet. Can anyone help?

The code you've got is correct for your serial number. All I can say.... is this the serial number printed on the label of the radio? Sometimes members find a radio manual with a serial number for the radio printed... but it's not the serial number of the radio fitted to the car.


Other point to mention... you are pressing preset button [5] after displaying the code?

Yes.. you would need to remove the radio from the dash to see the printed label. Removal keys can be purchased at most car accessory shops (under £5) or metal coathangers can be modified to do the job..
