Peugeot 206 code please

Hi there.

I bought a 2001 Pug 206 Gti yesterday. The guy said the batt went flat last week so I need a code to unlock the stereo.

After reading this thread I have pulled it out and got the following numbers.

Model : PU-2325A(B)
286-8497-35
96 396 920 80

Serial # CL0410Y0083343

Can someone please help me with the code? I drove the car back 6 hours today from where I bought it with no radio! gahh

Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code that can be calculated (using a serial number ) anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C 7000000 + + + + on a separate label somewhere on the metal casing.
(Note ...not beginning with CL.)

If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM) inside your radio

Also quote the SECURITY NUMBER. This is found on a label on the metal casing in the format TOA123 or TA123 or just A123 at the end of a barcode

If in doubt post ALL the letters+numbers on any labels or barcodes
