Hi,

Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code that can be calculated (using a serial number ) anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C 7000000 1234 on a separate label somewhere on the metal casing.
(Note ...not beginning with CL.)
If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM) inside your radio

I used a website, and entered my details, and that too came back with the code 3166, but that definitely isn't working.
Has anyone got any ideas why this would be?
I'm using the serial number that is physically etched into the radio so it's definitely the right details...

If this does not work then you are either quoting the wrong numbers here BP8146X2405529

or there is a problem with your radio

Such as it has been recoded in the past to a completely different number .
