i just bought a 206 (53) gti 180
the guy puts his own cd player in, and since putting orginal in it needs a code ( i hope)
it dont say any thing on the display .

i have a blaupunkt multi changer, it dont say what make on the cd player.
i have taken it out and try the barcode thng

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

First remove the radio from the dashboard.

Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels,barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.

Hi everyone, new to site and bloody car stereo codes...Anway took my battery off to change spark plugs never thought about stereo (doh) After making a right mess of trying to press random buttons it now says error 4 please help (been at this for hours) finally managed to get stereo out

To reset ERROR , leave SWITCHED ON..UNDISTURBED until it has automatically reset itself

well i have been to peugeot and they say that this cd player is the wrong 1 for this car, so your telling me a orginal peugeot cd player isnt compatable with another peugeot?? well thats poo isnt it

You are right, I forget an 8 indeed, the complete serial is BP9888A3004366. Unfortunately, the unlock code "1956" did not work. Is it possible that the previous owner has configured the device with a different code?
