thought, not to worry I have the original radio somewhere! ...plugged it in only to be faced with the dreaded CODE

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

First remove the radio from the dashboard.

Then post all the letters+numbers on any labels,barcodes and a 14 character Serial Number stamped in the metal casing.

This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated

urrrr nope. Having waited an hour for it to reset, 1234 gave me one shot - - - - and now its locked out again!

sorry to report but Frankys code was no good either

such a frustrating process as I'm only getting one chance to enter and then have to wait about an hour before it returns to CODE

I've checked again , 6949 is correct for your given serial no. !
1. please check again the serial no.
2. you have entered the code correctly ?
