Hi Guys, Hope someone can help me with the code for my radio. I've a Rover and the stupid mechanic took out the battery just to change a bulb from my head lights. So my radio was made by Philips in France.
Model no: 22 DC 594/60S
Prod no: FD 0597068066828
Beside the radio has 14 numbers that maybe is the SN: RG594FV8066828

Hi Guys, i think i need the codes for my phillips radio thats fitted in my xsara as i always thought it were a fuse that had blow somewhere but someone said that i needs the codes?
anyway all i can see on the radio is...

then some letters and numbers in a little box on the right..!

anyway help with codes and how to input them would be mostly appreciated..

something like 7700xxxxxxtt123 or 8200xxxxtt123 or
the security code like Q123 or T0X123

Hi i have a renault blaupunkt stereo which has a blank screen. is it locked out and do i have to leave it switched on for a couple of hours to reset with code which the dealer has given me and i hope works?

After switching on the unit the display will show ' CODE - - - - '.

Press preset [ 1 ] repeatedly for the first digit
Press preset [ 2 ] repeatedly for the second digit
Press preset [ 3 ] repeatedly for the third digit
Press preset [ 4 ] repeatedly for the fourth digit

Followed by pressing the ' > ' rocker key. The set will now operate.

Press preset [1] repeatedly until '7' appears.
Press preset [2] until '1' appears.
Similarly with presets [3] and [4] - until your code 7118 is displayed
Then press the rocker button '>' to enter and activate the code.

the screen is blank but the power light is on when ignition light is on and flashes when ignition light is off...
I have tried everything short of black magic and a vodo to try to get the code screen...
I am on two valium a day to calm me nerves and i have sung every song i know to pass the time driving...

This radio is from my 2001 kangoo slider van which i bought two weeks ago and the previous owner said the fuse was gone. mmmm i checked the fuse and guess what.??? its fine.

it sounds like the lcd (display) gone. the code is 8307
you could try entering blind but its not easy. it may go 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 OR 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 meaning one extra push on each button if its 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

press the first preset button for the 1st digit,
second button for the 2nd digit
third button for 3rd digit
forth button for 4th digit
then press buttons 6 OR 5 to store. for 10 seconds

Please note that code entry is only possible when "CODE" is shown in the display. If the display continually shows four bars " - - - - " then the unit may be codelocked and will need to be left switched on up for up to two hours to reset before another code entry attempt is possible
