Reset Code for Renault Megane Scenic DTI 98 Model

Hi

I have the code from a previous owner on some documentation and this usually works when I have had work done involving the battery being disconnected. The problem is that this code will no longer work. Could it be that the radio has factory defaulted and if so would anyone be able to supply a code please? Also the CODE message is displayed constantly, is this because I have triee the wrong code too many times?

Rotate " Thumbwheel " For Correct Digit
Press " ¬ " On The Stalk Control To Enter
Rotate " Thumbwheel " For Correct Digit

Sorry.......this is insufficient information

The radio has to be removed from the dashboard

Then quote the 14 character SERIAL NUMBER beginning with
RN* * * * * * * * * * * * found stamped in the metal casing.

Also quote the SECURITY NUMBER. This is found on a label on the metal casing in the format TOA123 or TA123 or just A123 at the end of a barcode

If in doubt post ALL the letters+numbers on any labels or barcodes

It`s usually an hour or two...but could be longer.

I`m not sure about this particular model but with some radios it can be more than 24 hours as the waiting time can double after each wrong code
