Funny, and what is "prolific based interface"? IT BASE ON FTDI-CHIP!!!! AND ALL that devices A NAMED AS VIRTUAL COM PORT (VCP).

Prolific based is exactly what it says. A PL203xx based interface.
For example, Rocker Cable, Turbo Fox Link, etc. This chip has better performance with calypso lite and locosto MCU-s.

RSD cant detect F3 via FTDI, and via Prolific it can.
