tryed with two phones of K200.
using setool 4in1 cable.

I test v1.16 and work perfect.
Your problem is in cable.

Ofcos play. but w/o success.
At now v1.13 flashing via setool 4in1 cable with perfect connection on 921600.
v1.16 can connect only via UFS+DirectCOM only with 115200.
Im not testing Prolific.
By the way repaired two items of K200.

usualy siemens data cable come with prolific chip inside.
buy one,cut siemens conector and atash rj45 female conector(you can use for other phone too) or atach jack+SE k750 conector.
some phones work good with ftdi interface some with prolific.
need have both cable.
for example w375 work good with ftdi cable.
c115,c155,v171 e.t.c. work good with prolific.
f3,k200 e.t.c. with prolific.
simply try and see.
