but not working on my U790, always gives me error reading imei
looks that U970 is not supported by this free SW

could be

but some time ago i have no problem flashig it after traing patch unlock with other box (unsupported version, so its still locked)
also no problem backing up NV with rocker, imei is OK
works with test card
phone is "3" branded from Italy

LG don't unlock old models.
The Option is this free program or with
Another Box or tool to LG.
But if phone don't have any problem in
Hardware try with this free tool.
