Actually there is nothing hidden about new software version.

There is v1.38 firmware for RIFF, with eMMC direct access. Right now it's being tested by our supporters. Due to HW limitations with old MCU, reading/writing speed is limited, but everything else is okay.

Public tests will be available in few days. Those who would like to test it, will have to apply for special group here on forum, once I prepare some functions in forum software.

As for RIFF II box, I cannot reveal any specifics, but lets say it works at full speed. It will come to market in time when we decide is appropriate for us, of course.

          Greetings!

May i ask that this new Hardware (RIFF II) Can also handle the new USF & UFS 2.0 when more devices comes to market (powered with this new storage type)? To ask shortly: Is RIFF2 "UFS-ready"?

Hope you can release emmc tool like odin emmc plugin of easyjtag with samsung.

Much new sony xperia phones and LG phones have bootloader inside firmware, if can connect with emmc directly and wr like samsung (just use pit, pda, csc, modem to repair) so it will be perfect solution without emmc dump.

Riff support for Cortex A7 and Cortex A53/A57 cores

I have a question about support for Cortex A7 and A53 or A57 cores. Is it possible to support those chips? I am talking about MSM8x10, MSM8x12, MSM8x16m MSM8x26, as well as newer Snapdragon and Mediatek chips.

None of the JTAG boxes support these chips. Is it a problem with the specific ARM core, or a problem with the JTAG boxes?

I would be willing to help research the problem if necessary. We see many phones with these chips and would like to be able to support them if possible.

                              Thanks!
