Scatter files are basically PIT equivalent, I don't see what is it exactly that You need ?
Could You elaborate Your idea, and possibly provide sample files ?

Simply extract *.md5 file using 7zip and use eMMC plugin to inject desired partitions.

From what I could see, scatter file is txt file containing partitions addresses and other info.
Somewhat like QC PST xml.

I still fail to see what use of supporting of such files, without actual flash file/raw dump ?

Can You upload some example model files (scatter and fw) here ?

If there is read only condition, that means ext_csd register need reset.
