Request for help with unlocking my Radio

Hello,

I am the owner of a Corsa and my car radio, a CDR2005, displays SAFE when I turn it on now. Before it worked just fine. After Googling what this means I now understand that there must have been a power disconnection. I see it is possible to request the code here and that people are submitting a serial number. My first question is how do I get hold of this serial number?

PPS: the car was bought second-hand and the document that has this code did not come with the car as the owner had lost it.

The radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

First remove the radio from the dashboard.

Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels,barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.

This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated
