I'm also a fresh owner of second hand CORSA bitterly disappointed to see SAFE on my radio screen.
But when Lord closes one door He opens another - for me this forum. Even if I should throw this useless radio in the bin I'll be happy to have found generous men which have helped so many disappointed like me.
I have driven more than 25 years without radio but if anyone would like to help me unlock my BLAUPUNKT:

Turn Off Stereo
Switch On Ignition (No Need To Start Engine)
Press & Hold Preset " AS " and
Switch Radio On - Display Shows
" SAFE " And Then Shows " 10 - - - - "
Press preset " 1 " repeatedly for 1st Digit
Press preset " 2 " repeatedly for 2nd Digit
Press preset " 3 " repeatedly for 3rd Digit
Press preset " 4 " repeatedly for 4th Digit
If the correct code number is now shown
Press & Hold Preset " AS " Until the Unit Beeps

Please note that code entry is only possible with the ignition switched on,
and in the order shown. If the display continually shows "SAFE" and a number less
than "10" then the unit may be codelocked and will need to be left switched on up
for up to two hours to reset before another code entry attempt is possible.

I've been driven an old Traby without radio fo more than 25 years.
When the first sounds filled my CORSA I felt as if being in a musical theater.
