Ford V Serial codes are not usually available for free from anywhere on the Internet (unless you can blag it for free from Ford) as they are not calculated using software but require access to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software.

Yes...these V codes won`t be free unless you can convince your local Ford Dealer

My wife has been gifted a 2008 Ford Focus 1.6 by her stepmother, which was nice. But it came with no radio code that we can find and as soon as the car arrived from sunny Spain to wet miserable and cold South of France the battery gave up!

Not posibile from serial, only VW main dealer can provide you code from serial,or you can go with radio in a decoding workshop .
