Ford Focus Radio Code needed

Hello,
same story for us: new battery and we don't have the code... IT's a second hand car and i don't have the unlock keys to remove the radio, so I don't have the complete serial number (I don't know if it starts with a M or a V)
the number I get by pushing 6 and 1 is: 50700012 (under that number: 255)
i hope that someone can help.... Thanks in advance

There are no real shortcuts I`m afraid !

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Ford V Serial codes are not usually available for free from anywhere on the Internet (unless you can blag it for free from Ford) as they are not calculated using software but require access to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software.

Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels,barcodes and a 14 character Serial Number stamped in the metal casing.

This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated
