Hello... not sure if i have done this correctly? Ow eck..

I have a Renault Scenic and over the cold weather the battery died and my radio will not work!! boo hoo. I've dug out my maintenance service book and under the vehicle details it gives me a code... However, i have entered this and it still dont work...

Details are:

Chassis VF1JAoBo526275914
Fabrications no D870276
Registration PE02 WKF
Supposed to be radio code 8061 (but not working)

Am wondering if the radio has been changed or sumert?

Can anyone help me please

Remove the radio from the dashboard.

Then post all the letters+numbers on any labels,barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.

Not a clue how you do it but it seems as if you can actualy cook up the right codes!

Hopefully it works for me to!

hI , this looks hopefull lol, i just bought a merc with radio code not in as battery changed , went to mercedes they said they did not have a code :-(( it is a becker audio 10 serial no AL2199W0931342/B MODEL NO MF2199 , many thanks Mike .

sorry for your model Alpine it' code will be a 5 digit.
Main Dealer or a Decode Service who will plug it into a laptop and electronically read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)
