Hi, I had to change my battery this week and the code I had for my Ford 6000 CD player doesn't work.

Can anyone help?

Thanks for this, I have since found a piece of paper from the garage too and that has the same code mentioned but unfortunately this doesn't work when I enter it .

When I press 6 and 1 I get the following displayed. MGP DJS 4-08-05-08-03

Does this mean the radio has been changed?

try pressing 6 and 2

Just switched it on and it went straight to 30 mins countdown.

Pressing 6 and 2 doesn't do anything.

6 and 3 gives about 10 secs of radio before returning to countdown!

This means that your radio will have to be removed from the dashboard in order to find the correct Serial Number printed on the label on the metal casing

Hi All.

I've recently changed the battery in my focus and it's asked for the code. Tried the one from user manual but didn't work. I've been given a few other codes from different places (9203, 5902) and none of these have worked. Its S/N is M436230. I'm on my last try so any help would be much appreciated.

Do not try any more codes as M436230 is NOT the correct Serial Number .

Remove the radio from the dashboard and quote the number printed on the label on the casing.

Ford V Serial codes are not usually available for free from anywhere on the Internet (unless you can blag it for free from Ford) as access is required to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software.
