thank you, so i just leave the car running until the code resets itself? sounds a bit strange to me, surely there is another way of resetting the code rather than leaving the car running and waiting

yesterday we put in an incorrect code and it came up error, it hasn't gone off since so we are unable to put in the code you have just gave me, do you have any idea how to get the error message off?
Or does anybody know how to get the error message off?
