Thanks very much for the code, I'll give it a try once the CODE message has gone and the code input is active again. I presume this will be because I tried the old code so many times, but have you any idea what the longest time out is on these radios?

It`s usually an hour or two...but could be longer.

I`m not sure about this particular model but with some radios it can be more than 24 hours as the waiting time can double after each wrong code

The radio has to be removed from the dashboard

Then quote the 14 character SERIAL NUMBER beginning with
RN* * * * * * * * * * * * found stamped in the metal casing.

Also quote the SECURITY NUMBER. This is found on a label on the metal casing in the format TOA123 or TA123 or just A123 at the end of a barcode

If in doubt post ALL the letters+numbers on any labels or barcodes

I have the code from a previous owner on some documentation and this usually works when I have had work done involving the battery being disconnected. The problem is that this code will no longer work. Could it be that the radio has factory defaulted and if so would anyone be able to supply a code please? Also the CODE message is displayed constantly, is this because I have triee the wrong code too many times?
