If the correct code is now shown on screen,

FOR NO STEERING CONTROL
press the first preset button for the 1st digit,
second button for the 2nd digit

forth button for 4th digit
then press and HOLD button 6 to store. for 10 seconds

First of all, many thanks for the code. Unfortunately I haven't been able to try it yet. I've replaced the original unit (tape/radio) with a salvaged unit (cd/radio, known to be working) When swiched on it displays "code" for a second or so, then "0000" (first digit flashing) but it won't allow me to enter the code. I've tried all previous instructions but none will work. The car has steering wheel controls. I've tried leaving it switched on as suggested but it turns itself off after a while, I guess to stop the battery running down. Are the car and stereo compatible? I seem to remember entering the code on the old unit using the buttons on the unit itself, but the new one just beeps when I try this. Please help. My 3 yr old is suffering with "barbie girl" withdrawl! Many thanks.

Evening all! Can anyone help with the code for a renault radio in my works van? It looks like the same factory standard model in my Scenic. I'd looked at this forum before and got the impression that this was the number you guys need to work your magic 7700433948TW381. If you need more info, let me know and I'll whip it out again!:blush5:
