I bought a Fiat Scudo that had no radio. Managed to get one from a Citroen Dispatch but I can't unlock it. Details as follows:
Model: PU-2294A(C)
Serial #: CL040150998705C
Then there is 2 other no's:
286-8497-33
96 392 195 80

Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with
C 7000000 + + + + on a label somewhere on the metal casing. please look to see if you have a barcode that starts with C7

If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM) inside your radio

Cheers for that. No barcode, so looks like a trip to the main dealer. Saved me loads of time anyway so thanks for a quick response.

That's possible. However, how can I put in a 9 when I only have 6 buttons? Stick doesn't work!

try
FOR NO STEERING CONTROL
press the first preset button for the 1st digit,
second button for the 2nd digit
third button for 3rd digit
forth button for 4th digit
then press and HOLD buttons 6 to store. for 10 seconds

MAY BE BUTTON 5 TO STORE

So so sorry. Didn't realise, Just that I'd picked 2 up from a scrap dealer (1 tape, 1 CD) & have been without for weeks now. I've even paid for a generator which, needless to say didn't work.

Really appreciate all the help & now have music in my vehicle & my husband is very happy. You guys are fantastic.

Sorry to hijack the thread but my Citroen Dispatch has just had a new battery fitted and the supplying dealer wants to charge me £17.00 + VAT to tell me the radio code. I even had it serviced there a few months ago!
Any help would be greatly appreciated:
