Hi there, my SN from radio is : cl040161042293c

I'm unsure of the model but its a 2004 shape citroen dispatch, think its a pu-2294a(c)

Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code that can be calculated (using a serial number ) anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C 7000000 + + + + on a separate label somewhere on the metal casing.
(Note ...not beginning with CL.)

If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM) inside your radio.

Yes the numbers are correct. Would it help if I upload the pictures of the bar codes?

This stereo is a tape/radio unit.

I assume I am putting the number in correctly, from what I have read I just type the number in from the number pad.

I have just bought a 2005 Citroen dispatch and the radio shows a 5 error code, i have taken the unit out and there is a yellow sticker with the following details,

Model PU-2294A(c)
286-8497-33
96 392 195 80

Also there's a white sticker that displays the following,

Serial No CL040140972265C.

I really need an answer to this problem soon as i cant drive with no stereo which means i can hear my wife telling me that i shouldn't have bought this van, it starts with the radio then other things, blah blah blah,

05 Citroen Dispatch 5 error code
