Unlock code for Ford 6000 cd player?

Hi there. I just replaced my battery on my car and my radio just says code. I don't have the code for my radio so now I have no music in my car. Can somebody please help.

6000cd serial number is m052913.

Is it possible to display the serial number on screen to find out what the serial number is for my head unit, without the need to remove the facia and head unit?? When I brought the car it didn't have the radio code and I don't know what the serial number for the unit is.

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Well the code on my Ford 6006CDC appears to be V990076. It does cycle through a few codes when I press 6+1 together. Initially MCD_GGD5_10 then 07--00--17, then 27--06--2006 and then some others including FDC3006, finishing with the V code.

Ford V Serial codes are not usually available for free from anywhere on the Internet (unless you can blag it for free from Ford) as they are not calculated using software but require access to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software.
