You will need to remove the radio from the dash panel. All the letters+numbers on any of the labels, bar codes or a stamp in a metal enclosureOriginally posted by Pushweight View PostI've got a Peugeot 206 as well and the radio is locked. I'm wondering if anyone can assist me on telling me how do I find out the serial number in order to paste in this thread to get the unlock code please. If you free, may you PM me and explain how please.

There are 2 battery feeds to the radio.
1...The Main one via the Ignition Switch . This is used to switch the radio ON
2...The other is a permanently connected battery feed that retains the radio memory features...ie..the code and the radio station settings.
It looks as though it is this permanent battery feed that is missing.
Check the fuses and the connectors/wiring at the rear of the radio

time
it will take about an hour mine did but you only get one chance to get the right code in at a time then reset it again if its wrongOriginally posted by RegWorts View PostI suspect it is locked because previously entered wrong codes.
Try leaving SWITCHED ON...UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to automatically unlock itself.
This may take a few hours
