Hi all, Having trouble with Ford Cd player FD2040, Serial no. 0116029 since battery renewed. Have no code to enter as previous owner only gave me keys to car, no manuals, etc.. Can anyone help, please. It's asking for a 4-digit code. Thanks.

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER will be required for calculating a code and for FORD this usually starts with M****** or V******

On some radios, pressing Buttons 6 and 1 or 6 and 2 (together) may display a Serial Number.

If not , then remove the radio from the dashboard.

Then post the Serial Number found on a label on the metal casing.

Hi, I have a friend with a Ford C Max with 6000CD (with centrally located volume)
I held button six then pressed button one and it came up with the following:

C2140002-20-D_C
Apr 14 2004
OFMM215767
JA CB AT RW RL AR

Am not sure if this includes the serial number or if I need to remove the stereo (have ordered the four tools to do this).
If you could find a code with the above information I would be very greatful.
