hi just fitted aux cable to my stereo and it wiped out stereo code please help serial is V222191 is v serial a prob as all seem to be M codes on here p.s its a cd6000

Ford V Codes are not available for free as access is required to the original Ford Factory database which is not commercially available

Ford Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service only

my ford traffic 4000 stereo is locked after putting in a couple of wrong codes any ideas how i sort this out??, the year of the car is 1999 and its a focus, i dont have the serial number

you need to get the serial number first.
try this simply turn on the radio, hold down button 6 and press 2.
The serial MAY be shown allowing you to easily get your ford radio code will look something like m123456 and roll across the display.
if not remove radio to get it.

Hi i tried this but after entering the code it came up saying 'wait' and counted down for 29mins then just went back to the 'code' screen? Any ideas?

can you please check the serial with the one that is stamped in to the metal casing on the radio
also please say what model
