Ford Focus cc-3 sony CD changer/radio

Hi Folks,

I am trying to get my Ford Focus CC-3 (2007 Reg) Sony 6-CD changer to work, but all efforts are unsuccessful.. Everyone here seems to know what their radio Serial Number is.. Sorry to say, but I dont have a serial number. A recent blog advised me to hold down buttons 1 & 6 on my radio and it seems to display the below details.. Can some one help me pleaseeeeeee

Hi, try pressing 6 and 2. Otherwise, remove the radio from the dash, and discover all of the letters+numbers on any of the labels, bar codes.

Thanks for your reply. I Pressed 6 but nothing happens.. Also with regards to removing the radio from the Dashboard, that may be a challenge, due to the way its been built in. Its one of those CD players that is built into the dashboard. I am worried I may break something in the process..

Any other ideas pleaseeee..

Thanks for getting back.. I have tried to remove the radio, but as I do not have the right tools, I am careful not to break the Stereo. However, is there a chance that "ACU CFG 920008" could be the Serial Number? See my previous tread..

No... the radio will have to be removed from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
