Code 8069 not working.

Good Morning.

Last week I was given the code 8069 for my radio but it hasn't worked. I have now tried it a couple of times with no success. I checked the radio against a Friends radio who has the same car and mine has a sticker around with very faded (unreadable writing on it). My friend thinks that my code may have been changed but without the info on the sticker cannot see how I can get around this. Can anyone help or is this a case of biting the bullet and going to main dealer? Thank you in advance.

Number at end of Barcode is: TR949.
Model Number : 22DC279/62Z

Other Numbers found = FD0202240303599 and TOR949??? Thank you very much in advance.

8069 is the correct code for the numbers given above.

Make sure you press the final button that stores the code (¬ or 6 or 5 ) for at least 10 seconds

If it still fails to work then the best option is to take it into a Radio Decoding Service where they will connect a laptop to read the working code inside the radio`s memory chip (EEPROM)
