i typed the code in but nothing happened are you meant to press anything after entering the code or is the radio meant to kick in straight away when code is entered

Your code is 7406 but as you have lock 13 that is a dealer or decoding co fix only?
You have entered the wrong code too many times.
Code 10 is fixable but NOT code 13 I am afraid.

Be cheaper to get another unit from the scrappy. Good luck with it.
