ford 4000 rds radio keycode

The radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display your Serial Number Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321

When I press the 6 and 1 together, this appears:

Unfortunately, I can't do that. The locked code I get is: LOCKED 13

So I think only the Ford dealer can fix it.

LOCKED 13 means it has had too many wrong codes.

Will have to be reset by a radio Decoding Service ....or cheaper to buy a replacement radio
