Hi All,
I changed the battery and the set is asking for code which I do not have. I phoned Renault and I was asked to pay £15 and come with all sorts of proof. Then I told my mechanic who brought the set out with 2 prongs and advised me to ask for help with the following information from the side of the set:

Hi the battery was disconnected and radio needs code. Only got it 4 months ago and cant find the code in the books etc. I need it tonight if poss going on a long journey tomorrow and cant face silence! Can anyone help? What info do you need?

The radio has to be removed from the dashboard

Then quote the 14 character SERIAL NUMBER beginning with
RN* * * * * * * * * * * * found stamped in the metal casing.

Also quote the SECURITY NUMBER. This is found on a label on the metal casing in the format TOA123 or TA123 or just A123 at the end of a barcode

If in doubt post ALL the letters+numbers on any labels or barcodes
