Hi the battery was disconnected and radio needs code. Only got it 4 months ago and cant find the code in the books etc. I need it tonight if poss going on a long journey tomorrow and cant face silence! Can anyone help? What info do you need?

The chassis number is VF1BMOBOH32004369
What other numbers details do you need?

The radio will have to be extracted from the car dashboard so that you can quote ALL the NUMBERS+LETTERS on any barcodes, labels or stamped in the casing

Basically there are four clips, (one in each hole) that have to be released at the same time.

This is done using a pair of extractors .

Alternatives include bending two lengths of wire coat hanger ...or use 4 small drills or allen keys...or 4 nails or even 4 darts.

Here is a demo using the proper keys showing how to do it.

It is easier if you insert the relevant items i(extractors/coathanger wire / drills etc )nto the four holes ...then as you release the inner clips get an assistant to pull the radio out,


It can be fiddly but it does work with the coathanger wire.
