There should be a 14 character Serial Number somewhere on the radio casing , possibly stamped in the metal.

It usually begins with RN or RG or PH or similar

Sorry...this code will not be available for free from anywhere on the Internet as it is not in the available database

Main Dealer or Decode Specialist only.

Perhaps be cheaper to buy a replacement with a working code off Ebay?

OK disappointing, I have a possible code, but don't know how to try it as I have no manual.
I have another radio which I have the unlock code for from another car which we are going to scrap, but it will require the plug to be rewired, it is from a Hyundai and that is reset by pressing each preset button the No. of the code length of 4 then the 5th button to confirm.

Any help on method of entering code would be much appreciated, else I will try rewiring plug.

I have rewired radio from Hyundai, it works apart from having to reset code every time. I will investigate where I have wired incorrectly sometime.
Thank you for latest info which I will certainly try when I have the time, the urgency has gone, as my son will be taking the refurbished car(with almost OK radio) tomorrow, as we entering yet another fire danger period with high temps.

Your problem with losing your code when you switch your radio off will be due to the permanent battery feed missing to the radio.
There are 2 feeds.......one via the ignition switch and the other direct. This direct battery is the one that retains the memory for the code and radio stations.
