If the display continually shows "WAIT" then the unit may be codelocked and will need to be left switched on up for up to two hours to reset before another code entry attempt is possible. If it does not reset after this time, or the display shows "SECURE" , then the unit will need to be sent to be reset and reprogrammed for use in your car,

    (GB) Theft protection system
    1. Switch on ignition.
    2. Switch on the radio, if turned off.
    3. The display shows 'CODE'.
    4. Press button BAND 4 longer than 3 seconds.
The display shows '10 _ _ _ _', which indicates that you have
ten attempts left at entering the correct PIN code.
    5. Enter the PIN code (see Security Card) with preset buttons 1, 2,
    3 and 4.
    Example:
    The code number might be 1 2 3 4.
    Press preset button 1 two times 1 0 0 0
    Press preset button 2 three times 1 2 0 0
    Press preset button 3 four times 1 2 3 0
Press preset button MIDDLE (the round one) five times 1 2 3 4
    6. Press button BAND longer than 3 seconds. After that, the
    radio starts with operating.

    Important:
After the 1st wrong entry of the code number, the display shows:
    " 9 - - - - ".
After 10 seconds, the display shows:
    " 9 S A F E ".
If you have entered a wrong code two times, 4 dashes will be
shown in the display for about 10 minutes together with the number
of remaining attempts to enter the code.
If you have entered a wrong code, do not turn the unit off until
"SAFE" and the number of remaining attempts for code entry
    is shown in the display.
If you have entered a wrong code 10 times, the following appears
    on the display:
    " D E A L E R

Fault attempt Idle time Fault attempt Idle time

    1st 10 Seconds 6st 80 Minutes
    2st 10 Seconds 7st 160 Minutes
    3st 10 Minutes 8st 320 Minutes
    4st 20 Minutes 9st 640 Minutes
    5st 40 Minutes 10st Display "DEALER
