How long do i have to wait to re-enter my code as i have error on my screen??

How long do i have to wait to re-enter my code as i have error on my screen??

leave turned on untouched until it resets
note the radio does not lockout after a wrong code entry it only doubles the time to wait before
the next retry...if a wrong code is entered it will display error then after the delay should display "0000")
longest time i know 32mins

Code Entry as Follows:

Switch Radio On - Display Shows
" 0000 " with the 1st digit flashing
Rotate " Thumbwheel " For Correct Digit
Press " ¬ " On The Stalk Control To Enter
Rotate " Thumbwheel " For Correct Digit
Press " ¬ " On The Stalk Control To Enter
Rotate " Thumbwheel " For Correct Digit
Press " ¬ " On The Stalk Control To Enter
Rotate " Thumbwheel " For Correct Digit
If the correct code number is now shown
Press And Hold " ¬ " Until A Beep Is Heard

Gah trying to fit an Ipod cable to the wifes car managed to dislodge the power cable as I as putting it back in was being really carful as I knew I didn't have a code.
