Renault clio radio code

Hi Guys...Just bought a Clio a month ago and had to reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery. Didnt realise the stereo had code protection. Silly me!!
Hope you guys can help me out with the code. The following are the details :

3228 is the correct code for the numbers given

Odd. Double checked all the numbers and everything matched. The code just simply does not work. Unless its possible that someone has changed it? No idea if thts possible

That's the sticker on the radio. Just to make sure that there's no confusion over the numbers here. If there isn't and you're sure the code you've given me should be correct, no worries. I'll have to try something else at that point.

Entered code exactly as described. Just simply doesn't work. The stereo does however have a repair centre sticker on the underside so i'm guessing it's been tampered with at some point. It doesn't matter, i'll advise me mother (who's car it is) to get a third party stereo. Thanks anyway
