Hi guys, Im still having trouble unlocking my radio - the number is BP0483 3 0996608 as in the pic attached.

So far I have tried 9041, 1041, 4205, 0205 and they dont work. At SAFE 3 now... Im really keen to get this working, I dont want to buy another stereo!

If 4205 does not work then it looks as though your radio may have been recoded in the past to another number

I am stressing a bit.
I changed my car battery without realising that I would need a code to use my stereo again.

If someone could help me out that would be awesome. I have a 2001 Holden Barina.

The booklet also says U1E, I don't know if that means anything.

It is a separate display that plugs into the radio

If you are trying to enter it "blind"then try adding one extra press of each button.

this is because the first press often moves the display from - to 0

so for first code digit of 5 then multi press Preset Button 1 SIX times

Ok, thanks Regworts....so my next problem is this, I press the on button and then the AS but hear no beep...I see earlier you suggest leaving the ignition on for a couple of hours? Background...no key in ignition the radio security light flashes, put the key in light goes off, then try and turn radio on, nothing, press AS, nothing so can't enter code...thanks again in advance.

If many wrong codes have been entered then the maximum period of time the radio has to be left SWITCHED ON ....UNDISTURBED is nearly 11 hours ( because the waiting time doubles after each wrong code)

The best method is to connect it up to a spare battery supply and speaker on your workbench.

Press the ON button and AS Button at the same time and leave it switched on for at least 11 hours (overnight )

Then enter the code ....and press AS button and your radio should work.

This method does work (I`ve used it several times) but you have to be patient (especially with no display unit !)
