These numbers are all in the cars documents, would the ones on the metal casing be different? I double checked the code entry instructions when I put the code in the second time and I've entered the code successfully in the past so I'm not sure why it isn't working now..

Yes....car document information is often incorrect.....Remove the radio from the dashboard and quote all the letters and numbers on any labels or stamped in the metal casing

No worries, thanks - I must be doing something wrong, I followed these instructions (and am now down to 8 attempts):

Switch the ignition key ON

Press and hold AS button * and the ON button at the same time

Display Shows SAFE then goes to 10 - - - - with a "Beep" from the speaker

Press Preset Button " 1 "repeatedly until the 1st Digit of your Code is displayed
Press Preset Button " 2" repeatedly until the 2nd Digit of your Code is displayed
Press Preset Button " 3" repeatedly until the 3rd Digit of your code is displayed
Press Preset Button " 4" repeatedly until the 4th Digit of your code is displayed

If the display now shows the correct Code number then

Press Button AS and hold to Enter and if successful there should be a "Beep" from the speaker and the radio should switch on

Barina 2002 radio code please help

Hi,

I took my 2002 Barina to a mechanic a while ago and when he gave me the car back the radio didnt work and he said I needed to get the code for it. However, when I rang my Holden dealer they told me the car was too old or something...?
Can you please help me?

Here are all the numbers on it:
serial no is BP2485 3 2866474
model blaupunkt 2020
part number might be 7642485517 but not sure whether Im reading the right bit for that.
it also has "no.:92 160 179 if that helps?
