Going by your serial number, I'm assuming it is for a FIAT, in which case
try code 6464.

If it is not for a FIAT, don't use the code.

Instead, post the part number beginning with 7 xxx xxx xxx

If code is successful, please let me know.

i am having a few problems with this radio it is a fiat punto radio aswell, but i cannot enter the code as it is just showing wait on the screen how do i get past this, i tried leaving it on for an hour then it gave me one attempt but the code i had wrote down was wrong and now i have tried waiting an hour again but it will not let me enter a code.

Rekon you're going to need to leave the radio on for in excess of 2 hours.
Had similar problems before, I've seen these radios needing to be powered up for 4 hours.........
It's a long wait.
If it's installed in a car you need to leave the ignition on as well.
and.. not to press any keys on the radio as well.

When the radio is reset it will show "----"

To be honest, I've never tried this. When doing this I've always got the radio powered up separately to a power supply.

The important point being, that the radio is not disturbed, and I rekon if you're having to turn off the engine with the key after a run, you're more than likeley to disturb the radio, which will in turn initiate the time delay sequence again.

You might want to consider getting hold of an ISO harness, removing the radio and connecting to a spare battery, then just leaving powered up.
