Hi, I recently got my clutch changed and the mechanic disconnected the battery power without asking me first. My radio is now asking for a serial, which I don't have, and I hope someone can help me with this. These are the numbers that I can extract from the radio:

              Fiat Punto 1.2 Active (2004)
              Punto CC/CD/MP3
              SW ver 2.65
              BP-nr. 7 642374316
              Prod. Nr. Fiat 735337935
              815 BP237434034223

Any help will be greatly appreciated! Cheers.

Your radio is a Fiat Punto Low, which means the proper BP algorithm is T1, giving code 1 4 1 4.
Are you finding that you're having to wait a long time between time delays before entering in the code?
It should display 'CODE' followed by '----", before allowing code entry.

I have came across the same radio before, where it just wouldn't accept the code.
We decided that there must be something wrong with the radio.
All I could say is, take it to a radio decoding service, who will be able to verify
the code by reading the security chip.
