I'm a new user, sorry if this is redundant but - can I use my RIFF to resurrect any motherboard, with any firmware (i.e. downgrade), or do I need to know the firmware? Mine is not listed in the resurrection DLL (NVH7) it's 4.4.4, I hear some cannot downgrade to 4.2.2, but with the RIFF box, can I take an image of 4.2.2 and flash it?

With the RIFF, the bootloader I would believe would have no say in my choice of firmware. The only thing I do know - is that the snapdragon series in the M919 has E-Fuses, the most feared of hardware modders (anyone remember the 360?)

I'm new to GSM repair, have done JTAG repair on things such as motherboards and WiFi routers, but not this sort.
