  • LG P769 connection help

I have two LG P769 phones, using the MOORC molex connector I connected the devices to the RIFF box. There is no current DLL for this device so I am using the Custom Target Settings selection set to the OMAP4430, which is the chip the device is using. Clicking on Analyze JTAG Chain I get the following response:

    Open serial port...OK
    Connecting to the RIFF Box...OK
Firmware Version: 1.37, JTAG Manager Version: 1.55
    Selected Custom Target: [OMAP4430, 2.60V, TAP0]
    Connecting to the target...OK
Set I/O Voltage reads as 2.60V, TCK Frequency is 8 MHz
Following devices are found on the JTAG chain:
    Device on TAP #0: ID = 0xFFFFFFFE, IR Length = 0x06 bits
    Total IR length: 0x0006 bits

I have lowered the TCK frequency to 8MHz since it will not respond set at RTCK and other devices using the same processor supported by RIFF are using 8MHz. I also tried selecting one of the other devices which uses the same processor with no luck.

When I click on the Connect & Get ID I get the "None is Detected" error. I can confirm device is on and powered from current draw reading on DC power supply.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I have a colleague who is also trying to access one of these phones and we have not been able to connect to them successfully.

    Thanks,

    JD
