I changed my original radio unit from my VW Golf 4 2001 to install a JVC navigator. Recently I decided to re-install the original one but I can't find the code and VW dealer would like to suck my blood (100 €!!)

Sorry....your code will only be available from the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

It is unlikely to be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet
