Hello,

I've got a MEX-100NV in my car, including the code card, last week I've changed my battery and since this action the system is waiting for the code.

My code on my card is 56653, my product ID = BE 7890 2 5002849.

The thing is, it's not accepting the code, I don't know why.....maybe there is an alternative master code? Iva already tried 11111 12345 etc...and numerous times tried my original code but no success....

Leave the radio SWITCHED ON ...UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to automatically reset This can take as long as an hour or even longer

Enter CODE in the order it is read:

Press Preset 1 then 2 then 3 then 4 then 5
The Code will Enter Itself Automatically

Switch on, enter code (first time) 56653, display says...enter code, I enter My code (second time) 56653, display erases and says enter code so for the third time I enter my code 56653 and then the bandit appears....and my waiting time starts again....

What is the Serial Number (found on the label on the case) and/or the number stamped in the metal casing?

the s/n = 25006221 (and those eight nrs are not the nrs on my Sony code card....)
