My Husband has changed the battery on my Audi A4 Avant and now the radio doesnt work, I know i need to enter a code but audi want to charge me through the nose for it

i dont know the seriel number as i cant get the radio out without tools which i dont have.

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

First remove the radio from the dashboard.

Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels,barcodes and a 14 character Serial Number stamped in the metal casing.

This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated
